home sweet home
Not only is this literally our 'home sweet home' (aka- 'the Burg') - this is our new 'home sweet blog'. Just moved in - I have a lot of work to do before it's 'me' - but it's feeling good. Took these shots on a nice warm Sunday summer evening . . .

I upload DIRECTLY to the blog - BUT, I think THAT was my mistake in the beginning. I am going to have to use Flickr - but I'm going to have to go Pro because I've used ALL MY SPACE there as well - so I'm going to PAY for that to host my pictures and use FREE BLOGGER - but honestly, I'm getting really tired of their templets and would love to find something FRESH and new!? But, you can't argue with F.R.E.E.!

Wordpress is free and has different templates, but there's a little learning curve to go along with it. And I still can't figure out how to get my blogroll to show up, so I'm the last person to ask for advice on that front . . .

Looks great Berta! Love all the new pic's. Your blog just wouldn't be (your blog) without all those fab pictures. There are millions of free templates...really great ones out there. If you find one that you like, and need help, let me know. I don't know much, but enough to help a bit.
It looks AMAZING as usual! You are the bestest picture taker! I really like the one of the crops. I don't think I could live w/o potatoes.

As for blog templates, there are TONS you can find for blogger. You will find lots for Wordpress, but then you can't use them with the free version. You must self-host to use most of the other options with Wordpress. I'm regretting switching to it. Just FYI.
