Rather than roam around in my PJs today, I headed to the polls and cast my ballot. I'm very patriotic because I LOVE freedom and the American way of life! So many times I think about what it would be like not to have what so many people take for granted! I don't even like the thought of it - SO, I vote! Then, I think of all those who went before and either sacrificed in some way or lost their lives in defense of freedom SO, I vote! I think of people throughout the world who are in bondage to someone else and that makes me sad - SO, I vote! We hear that freedom isn't free - and I appreciate my everyday freedoms and I don't want to loose them - SO, I vote! I want my kids, my grand babies and all my future posterity to enjoy everything life has to offer - SO, I vote! "Did you?"

I agree about the voting! I had to wait in line for almost an hour. That is quite rare at my voting place, but I'm glad I did it!
