moon on earth

Craters of the Moon lava valley

the moon on earth

Just a few photos of "Craters of the Moon" national monument in Idaho.
A few snippets of what the moon looks like! Astronauts trained here before actually heading to the moon. The environment is so similar to that of the moon's surface (all except the Toyota and the guy without the space suit! ! ! ) "Grown in Idaho"!

More journaling and highlighted photos to follow!

What a cool looking Toyota. I love Craters of the Moon. One summer we did a guided hike that took all day out into the middle of it. It was very cool.
