This week we chose the theme "WET" and we had to find something in our surroundings to represent that theme - kind of fun, if you ask me! When I first saw Corey's photo it made me break out in a huge smile - darn cute - just made me want to touch that cute, hairy, wet nose! You can go to her blog and read how she came up with this idea - love it!
The photo I choose was (obviously) a rose Bob brought home one fine day! I misted it and it had the neatest water droplets so I ran and got my camera to capture them before they rolled onto the counter. Obviously, everything in our world, here in the northwest, is frozen solid!
If I had a choice of what to take pictures of, I think it would be everything in nature - it's really therapeutic for me - so calming - especially fury, "WET" noses!

If you'd like to see more of "Team Up Thursday" head to Megan's blog for more excitement - "Hey, I'm heading over there right now myself - come on and join me!"

It looks great on here. :) I love it more each and every time I see it. I'm so glad we teamed up. :)
oh and it looks like they are wanting everyone to do "self_portrait" this week. :)
i do love this combo -- such a great take on "wet." the delicate drops in each just make the viewer want to reach out and touch. lovely.
Another interesting team up Thursday...amazing how differently we all see things around us...
I just love how you both got droplets in your images. And how you both chose to go in close. In your shot, the way the light came in and focused on those few drops in the middle, sweet. Sweet diptych, team.
Beautiful droplets! Nice capture and I like like the b/w which contrasts nicely with Corey's muzzle shot. ;) I love the "wet".
The contrast between the b/w and color shot is wonderful on top of the droplets. I am a sucker for shooting droplets on flowers too. That furry little nose melts my heart! Great job this week.
What a great theme and you guys captured it so differently. I love the contrast between the black and white and the soft colors of the horse. Very calming. I am also a sucker for rain droplets!!
i just love the contrast of them.
very primal... and then the delicate.
i have to say... i was completely taken in with your photograhy! beautiful!
both images are so soft and sweet...making you pause to appreciate those little tiny things that make life beauutiful. We all need to take notes from nature too....that quote - nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished - resonates for me!
For some reason I can't see your picture. Just the edge. I love what I do see. Corey's picture is fantastico! She is so cool!
