all that remains - thank you dear farmer!

My obsession is soon coming to an end! My obsession: wheat fields. The only thing left to do is to bail the hay and then to disc the fields under for the winter. Yes! Soon these fields, that surround our home in the 'Burg', will be plowed under and I will have nothing to photograph but snow! Did I actually use the four letter word? Opps, that won't happen again!

all that remains is straw

Just a little different view . . .

golden harvest

beautiful patterns emerge

A SPECIAL THANK YOU to our "farmers" who dedicate their lives to feed us.

Beautiful Berta! I'm so thankful though that I'm not in one of those combines, or dumping trucks. It's much more stunning from a distance....LOL. I think there are very few people who actually realize where "their food" comes from! You don't need any help with your pictures...I need lessons from you. I'm still learning...slowly. Oh yeah...Whitney you are gorgeous.

Man, you're eye is incredible. I love the peace and beauty your blog brings . . . between the music, the beautiful photography and the enthusiasm in your "voice", it's a great place to visit. Thank you.
