is it 'thursday' already . . .

I must confess, I'm not doing well in the 'blogging department' these days! I guess I've been taking advantage of my free time while I still have it - lessons resume again Tuesday! I've had a really good rest from the guitar and banjo world but as I mentioned before - got absolutely nothing done of any value!

It feel it coming - time to tear the house apart once again and do some cleaning - I feel Christmas approaching. Oh man, did I really 'think' that thought? What's up with me? How can I possibly even 'go there' at this point in time? REPENT! - thinker of such thoughts! Okay, I'm over it!

This is the most random of all thoughts possible! I was watching the news tonight and they mentioned how 64% of the work force, in coming years, is going to be people over 55 years of age! How crazy is that? Do you know what my dream job is? Working at Disneyland ! ! ! ! I kid you not! The last time we were there, I noticed all through the park there were people into their late 70's and early 80's who were working and having a blast - least it appeared that way to me. I think I would love to work in - hummm, ya know, I can't decide - how about anywhere in the park would be fine.

Do you see this dude pictured at the left? He's responsible for me hobbling around this week like a 106 year rather than my tender age of %*?@ (that would be left blank for many reasons - one of which I don't want you to feel sorry for me). One week ago when we were up north taking pics of stuff I saw this guy rambling down the sidewalk, thought to myself, "What a great photo-op", turned quickly and popped something in my hip! I totally blame him - well, you've got to blame someone, right? At one point in time, I was about to resort to crawling just to get from point A to point B. I didn't know I'd have to give so much for the perfect picture!
