the lower road

a walk to remember

This is the "lower mesa falls" in our area. The last time we were here, we ran out of sunlight so, we had to come back and capture this 'lovely'!

Updated note: Sunday, this pic was awarded the "American West Photo of the Month" award and is hanging their Hall of Fame gallery - on Flickr! This is major huge honor!

lower mesa falls - 'cascade'

The wind was lightly blowing through the trees, temperature warm and balmy. Had the leaves not been turning crimson, you would not have known it was autumn. Soon this area will be closed off as the snow will keep travelers far and wide from viewing it's splendor until next spring - PITY!

Your photos make me long for southeast idaho. My parents don't live there any more so we don't visit very often. It is so beautiful.

Fantastico!!!!I would love a copy of the falls. It takes me away to a peaceful place I wish I could see in person. You have such a talent!!!! Of course, what else is new!!! Absolutely gorgeous! How far is that from your house? Take us there the next time we visit you.......

Okay, so I've taken a million pictures at Mesa but they don't look ANYTHING like these. Congrats on the award. That's pretty cool!
