After purchasing (7) of these for Christmas presents for our kids I finally, got in the mail, my very own little Kindle! Made a decision in my life that I needed to read more and wanted something I could take with me that took very little room!
Remember several months ago I told you about something that really rang true to me - something that has to do with scrapbooking? "SCRAPBOOK?!" you say! That was actually a sware-word to me for a long, long time. Took too much time, too much mula ($), too much room - you name it, I was against it . . . well, until now. I've had it undercover for awhile and decided to share it with you now.

I haven't done a scrapbook since my youth - in at least fifty year...and I won't start it up again, though I've seen some truly beautiful ones. I'm devoting my retirement to writing my blog and poetry and, perhaps, I'll even do a second poetry book. As for the kindle, I did give it a though but it seems most of my reading is now relegated un unabridged audiobooks!
I luv your favorites Berta. I don't have the Kindle, but I'm in love with my ipad that I download books on as well. I just purchased the Nook color for my Mom for Mom's Day & her birthday combined. It also looks mighty sweet. Hope all is well with you & Bob. Oh...I also loved sitting on the couch watching conference. My favorite!

OK. This just might be what I need to do. 34 years of pictures to scrapbook is kinda daunting!
