special kind of sunday . . .

There are some special times of year for all of us - what's yours? Birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Independence Day - what? General Conference is one of mine (two times a year) - family, church in pjs - yes, in your pjs, good food, good company, inspirational goodness.

It was a beautiful day dispite the predicted forcast - snow, high wind, (((cold))). We didn't get a drop of either but it was a little chilly! (Click here to check out what last year was all about!) Please, do me a favor, and check out the buds on the trees! Our snow is (((gone))) except in shady areas - unbelieveable! Finally! Click the photo for a closer look - you don't realize how exciting this actually is - after (6) months of winter!


Some salmon, smothered in olive oil, garlic and herbs, was on today's menu along with roasted potatoes and veggies.


Had to make a few Conference snacks - chocolate chippers . . .

My analogy of Conference is like being in a warm cacoon, eating the most delicious food (spiritual in nature) and then when it's all done, being thrown back out into the world to continue our journey through life!
