Corey and I both thought it doesn't matter 'where' you live that makes a 'home', but rather WHO you're with that makes a 'home'!

My daughter and her little family had been living with us for the past 3 months. Before they moved in with us they called Montana 'home'. THEN they moved to Idaho and lived beneath the Grand Tetons and called it 'home'. After three months they called our home - 'home'! Several days ago they moved into a rental unit while they attend college and they now call it 'home' - four 'homes' in the last 4 months! So, the word 'home' is a relative term. However, no matter where they call 'home' to little Bodin (pictured), any where his mother is, it's definitely 'home' sweet 'home'. So, I entitled my photograph, "HOME, any place you lay your head."

I thought Corey and I were like-minded last week - well, when I saw her photo this week, it blew me away! We did not interpret our theme literally with furnishings, baked goods, curtains, PJs and the such - but more from the heart.
Corey's daughter, Sugar Bear shows us with her her adorable little hands that "home" is when you're with someone you love! I tried making an up-side-down heart with my hands and it wasn't very pretty - so, Sugar Bear did a sweet job and, of course, Corey always captures the true spirit of any photograph.

You guys are the perfect team. Amazing how "in sync" you are...and you're so right, it's WHO that matters rather then WHERE! Both photos are lovely, and your words make them mean that much more.

I just told Corey how much I loved doing the theme of home. It is such a broad theme that anything goes. And your little babies are definately a wonderful way to portray this. I love the little peek a boo of that perfect eye and smile over the shoulder. The crisp b/w'ness of the shot is beautiful.
