I'm SO mad - journaled my heart out for the past 15 minutes, there was a glitch and lost it all! I'm ticked, dang technology!!!!!
It's been over a week since I've posted - pretty much
unheard of! When I don't have early-morning guitar lessons to teach, I don't set my alarm clock and let my
internal clock wake me up! I'm usually up about the same time but I let my own body tell me when I've had enough sleep! Refreshing - I marvel at how smart our bodies are! I tried applying the same principle to blogging and apparently it worked - I'm back with a little 'this and that' to report!

October is
here and I'm ready for it! What a special day - my youngest son Griffin was born on this day. All of our kids are super-special but Grif being the youngest and being born on my brother's birthday was memorable! Pictured, some crystal 'this and that' on my dresser!

A year ago, around this time, we were over in Sun Valley to a school convention and bought this Sun Valley charm. I had the brilliant idea to set it in some jewelry cleaner and it tarnished - in fact, I think it took all the finish off! I'm yearning to get another one via internet!

I think I'm in need of a bedroom-makeover. Maybe
cleaning it would be a good start!

Lights in our home are going on earlier and earlier as the sun is setting sooner. I learned the other day that it really doesn't matter how cold the nights get, the fall leaves appear when the days get shorter and shorter! How come I didn't know that - at least I don't remember learning that! I'm yearning to get up in the mountains to capture the falls leaves - soon.

This is the
hardest part of the year for me - loosing the sun! I actually go into a state of semi-depression when we loose "Day Light Saving Time" and turn our clocks back - darkness arrives around 5:30 p.m. every single day until spring! I'm going to savour every second of day light until the end of this month.

Headed
north Wednesday and took photos with Heather of (3) football teams - filled up 1 1/2 memory cards! Now, that's a lot of editing!!! I thought Carson (grandson) looked particularly handsome in this photo -

and Kelton is not only handsome but getting dang old -

Carson putting on his tough face -
All the photos came out great - the kids were so much fun! Took us three hours in incredibly warm weather - unseasonably warm weather - 80's!

We rarely set an alarm clock in our home, unless we need to be up early for a plane flight which is rare. We let the sun or the puppy dogs in our home wake us. Is so much nicer not being jolted out of bed in the morning especially as we age.
