summer's last hurrah!

Hubby and I moseyed-on-down to the college gardens tonight prepping for a photo shoot this week - checking lighting conditions because the sun is setting earlier and earlier every day. Despite the cool nights the gardens were still spectacular - this is what we saw:



When I was a young girl we had these (below) growing around our home - I didn't know that they grew in Idaho - I was so excited because I loved them and played with them all the time. Think I'll plant some around our home -

"FLYING SOUTH" - if you look into the sky, you'll see this very thing going on - duck and geese flying south. Can I go?

I'm getting a little sad that this will soon be laying under several feet of snow. Drats!

Popping in to say hello ~ hope you are well...2 week to my trip back home...its so difficult there as dont have good access to the internet...but am sure I will manage like I did last time.

Thanks for sharing your amazing talent with your camera with me..
I did an outside family shoot yesterday and struggle with the shadows that fell on the faces...any tips for next time on that...
