prospectus magazine - it's here!!!!!
It really happened! Remember the new Prospectus magazine I told you about that was coming to our city? It's here! The editor liked the photos I submitted and used {7} of them in their magazine! Wow, I was amazed - it's a high quality magazine, with glossy paper, all about our city and surrounding areas. It's amazing to see it in person!!! The editor asked if I would/could be the official photographer for the magazine in our area - holy honor! If you'd like to see the 'online' version of the magazine just click HERE. You can actually click through the pages. The photos they choose to use are found on pages: 4, 21, 22, 42, 45, 48 & 54. Garsh!!!!!

wednesday journal notes - gotta START somewhere
**************
Disclaimer:
If you're not into talking/reading about body fat, nutrition, losing weight, gaining weight, cravings, sugar detox, ranting about chocolate/no chocolate, water weight-gain THEN don't bother reading this journal entry - cause one of the following topics WILL BE discussed within the parameters of this post! BLOGGER BEWARE!
***************
By the time I ate a cup of these little gems tonight my fingers, tongue and teeth were blue/purple - imagine what your 'insides' look like! I was beginning to worry about my teeth - but a little brushing cured that. Back to my pearly-whites again OR would that be pearly-yellows!!! haha!I have been reading several blogs over the past months of bloggers (men and women) who have been super-successful in loosing weight by journaling their experiences and being pretty public about the whole thing! Hummmmmm, is that in my best interest, I ask myself? Anyway, almost all of them took a year to accomplish their goal - slow and steady. I must say, I was impressed by their dedication and got me thinking, "Hey, dude! I think I could do that!" So, rather than bore the tar out of you making daily entries about the riggers of weight loss, I think I will check in weekly and let you know how things are going. I've been wanting/needing to do this for a long, long time. AND, that means hitting the gym (again - it's a life-time-thingy) and reporting in. I'll use WEDNESDAY to report and call it "Weight Watchers Weigh-in", "Walley-The-Whale Weigh-in", "Wednesday's Whaling-Wall" OR something like that!!!
ANYONE WANT TO JOIN ME - a journey is a lot more fun with someone along!?! . . . come on now!
h.o.m.e. - Team Up Thursday
Corey and I both thought it doesn't matter 'where' you live that makes a 'home', but rather WHO you're with that makes a 'home'!
by Corey -
My daughter and her little family had been living with us for the past 3 months. Before they moved in with us they called Montana 'home'. THEN they moved to Idaho and lived beneath the Grand Tetons and called it 'home'. After three months they called our home - 'home'! Several days ago they moved into a rental unit while they attend college and they now call it 'home' - four 'homes' in the last 4 months! So, the word 'home' is a relative term. However, no matter where they call 'home' to little Bodin (pictured), any where his mother is, it's definitely 'home' sweet 'home'. So, I entitled my photograph, "HOME, any place you lay your head."

I thought Corey and I were like-minded last week - well, when I saw her photo this week, it blew me away! We did not interpret our theme literally with furnishings, baked goods, curtains, PJs and the such - but more from the heart.
Corey's daughter, Sugar Bear shows us with her her adorable little hands that "home" is when you're with someone you love! I tried making an up-side-down heart with my hands and it wasn't very pretty - so, Sugar Bear did a sweet job and, of course, Corey always captures the true spirit of any photograph.

There are so many definitions for the word 'home'.

berta, you're FIRED!
Tell you more in the morning - right now, I'm soooooooo tired!Well, where do I start?
We left Friday to Salt Lake to 'car shop', visit with Cam & family, Cort & family and move Whit, Bodi and Schuy into their new digs - guess what? I didn't take {1} photo the entire trip! So, that's why "BERTA, YOU'RE FIRED!" . . . as the family photographer! I was watching Celebrity Apprentice when we got home (relaxing, you know) and all I could see is Donald's face staring at me, giving me the 'boot'. I missed out on some choice photos - man, I dropped the baton on that assignment!!!
LAST FRIDAY we car shopped! Interesting experience. Let me preface my remarks by saying I shop in low-budget stores (really low-budget) - so the following seems 'crazy' to me! That being said, meet the new member of our family!
